The little paw prints on the handle will appeal to children. The finger holes are fairly large, which allows for a comfortable grip and easy handling. The blades are sharp and cut most of the items well, although we struggled a bit through the cardboard. There is a safety catch to lock the blades together, but we found it difficult to operate.
